oh no. my streak is over.

had to end sometime. 166000 km. alternator finally died. been waiting for that to happen. rolled over 658000 km this week.

Do you ever get out from behind the wheel? My 98 sounds like an old wooden wheeled wagon when it is around 0F outside, feel like it too with the sport springs!

I agree...my "smooth" ride during the summer and autum months is now a "harsh" ride again in the winter, with temps. near or under 0degrees F. I hope that things will smooth out again once spring gets here.

Breadboy...at least it wasn't a timing belt or a ceased engine. Do you plan to replace the alternator and keep on going with this car?

oh no. my streak is over.

already done. used one cost me $150 can. now at 658200km. now that winter is here it is feeling a bit creaky but with the driving i do it makes no sense to get something else until this one is used up.
