lost part; any ideas? V70-XC70 1998

I lost the battery-operated door lock/unlock key fob for my '98 v70. Any ideas how to either buy a new one for relatively little money (I hear dealer costs for these things are astronomical) or whether a used one (say, from a wrecked Cross Country, for example) will work?

    Since you lost it:
On the back it reads VOLVO 9166200 Japan FCC IDHYQ 1512J
The front has LOCK UN LOCK pic of trunk and Red button with key ring holder on bottom left.
You will still have to have the dealer program it for your car. Call the dealer to ask about the price of the fob and programming before you go to Ebay.
The dealer can cut you a new key from the VIN.

Since it's a '98 you are in luck! Just make sure the FCC #'s and what-not's are correct and buy one off of eBay (what I did). You WILL however had to get your dealer to program it, just don't tell them you bought it on eBay. Take all your FOB's in when you do this...they have to do it in a series. If you leave one at home, when the other(s) are programmed the one at home will no longer work. Three can be programmed at once for your car.
