Heater Fan switch won't respond - Need help! 850 1993

I was attempting to replace the lights in the electronic climate control unit per instructions from the Brickboard. After removing the 5 screws, I still couldn't get the face plate to come off the unit. I ended up replacing the bulbs from the back, but sometime during the pulling of the face plate, the fan switch got screwed up - it slides fine but it won't stay in position, it springs back towards the center. When I plug the unit in, the fan is stuck on a high setting. I still can't get the faceplate off to see how the switch attaches. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the fan switch to operate properly again - and how the face plate is supposed to come off after the 5 screws are removed? Thanks very much in advance - this is my parents' car, I need to stick to RWD!

Got it - no need for help now 850 1993

Ok, figured it out with a helpful tip from the dealer.

FYI - the instructions for getting to the climate control panel lights may be different for different setups. On the '93 with electronic climate control, you don't need to take the face plate off to get to the bulbs, easier to get to them from the back where the bulb holders are located.
