still rockin and rollin. some answers to previous queries. 1. i tow a trailer and deliver bread. 2. im serious when i say i have done NOTHING to the transmission. havent pulled the dipstick in a year. 3. made in japan you are incorrect about the timing belts. i changed at 200000, 370000, and 530000. currently at 124000 and counting. thats kilometers. WARNING: im not advocating that people change at those intervals. i do a lot of HIGHWAY driving and apparently that gives you a longer shelf life on that thingy. im not even remotely an expert on how to fix anything, but i am an expert on what kind of abuse this car can take and still keep on truckin. signed, put down that pita and eat some bread

Yo, Breadboy. Nice job, post again when you get 1,234,567Km. As for timing belts, etc. highway miles don't bother them as much as heating and cooling cycles (stop and go traffic) and oil changes, tranny fluids, get longer life when the car is continuously used.
Over 400K miles and still trucken'

I can't believe you don't even change your TB on time. How many times have you changed the water pump? The Serp. belt? This is unbelievable. I'd say as the car gets older it might be wise to at least follow the TB interval closer. Oh, how about the tensioners and pulleys?
