How reliable is a V70R? We were at the dealer looking at a 2006 V70 2.5T which seems to have become a fairly reliable car. They had a leftover 2005 V70R which would be a few thousand more than a 2006 2.5T. I would be fun to have, but I don't want to trade the reliability of a V70 for extra sportiness.

Kinda depends. How long do you usually keep 'em?

The R headlight aim and the suspension are both controlled by computer. I'd have no problem with leasing one and I even came within a penstroke of buying one with the intention of trading it after 3 years. However, I'm not sure an "R" is the kinda car I'd want to try going after that 500,000 mile badge with.

Check out the R forum over on www.swedespeed.com Those who have these love them. If you can buy one new, this is a rare event. Most have been bought up and no one knows where any new ones are.
