how to identify VOLVO 850 ECM's engine and trans 850

I have been parting VOlvo 850's on ebay for 6 years. I have a large pile of ecm boxes and no way to identify. I should have marked them, my bad. Is there anyway i can find our what they go to? for instance , I have an aisin 15.3? how will i tell what yr model tracs ect it is compatible with. Any help is greatly appreciated. will trade parts for a list of whats what. Scott

    The Aisin is not an ECM (or ECU) but a transmission computer. At least for the ECU's this should help (the last 3 or 4 numbers on the ECU serial number- top left) should identify them and you can cross reference them to the ones in the link below): http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?CategoryID=220&NodeID=432&RootID=629
    Maybe we can find a reference to the Aisin trannyputers somewhere too.
