SAS clamps

I'm replacing a SAS valve/blower on a 96 850. In reguard to the hose clamps used, do I just squeeze these things tight with pliars? They appear to have just a small ratchet mechanism. Bay 13 referes to a "special tool".

    you'll the need the special tool, otherwise just use the regular adjustable clamps
