Fault Code P0110 V70-XC70 1998

I changed my timing belt this weekend. All went well, but when I started the car for the first time, the ECM set two fault codes. I cleared the codes but one keeps coming back; P0110 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction. I'm assuming there is a sensor problem. Where is this sensor so I can change it, or is there another problem?

    Fault Code P0112 not P0110 V70-XC70 1998

I stand corrected. The code was P0112. I forgot to reconnect the temperature sensor located in the air guide that I removed when I drained the radiator for the water pump change. I reconnected the sensor, reset the code and the CE light did not come back on. Thank you.

That's great news, and I'm sure you're relieved.

On the 95 850 it is near the right (passenger) front of the car. If so on your car, when getting at the timing belt did you disturb the wiring or connector? Sensor itself is an encapsulated thermistor and failure is infrequent (not impossible). You can check the sensor with an ohmmeter - resistance (with plug disconnected) would be between a few hundred and a several thousand ohms. If 0 or infinite the sensor is bad.
