98 Radio removal V70-XC70

Can someone give me a quick run down on the radio removal for a 98 V70. My Brotherinlaw just got a used one, changed the battery, and the code written in the owners manual does not appear to be correct.

    You will also need to check with a local volvo dealer to get the proper code. That may require you to drive ther to show proof of ownership to get the proper code

    There are tabs on each side of the radio. You'll see them. Just push them in and they pop out, giving you something to grab onto. Now just pull straight out on these tabs and your radio slides out. Hope this was simple enough.
