Hi,

I have a '90 740GL that's giving me a lot of issues - so I'm trying to see if I can get a 2001 Certified Pre-owned S60 which has 57K miles.

The dealer won't budge below $15,500 ....Would I be paying too much?

The car is a T5 ...is pretty loaded with everything you could want, but KBB is only about $15K ...

What do you guys think?

Carsdirect.com gives $32,598 as the price for a 2006 S60T5 with Premium-Climate-Xenons.

If you WANT a newer Volvo, how about LEASING???

...I know, I know, but these latest Volvos are about impossible for the shade-tree mechanic to work on.

If not, how about a Camry or Accord?

Certified from the dealer is always going to cost you more than blue book. I'm surprised the dealer doesn't want more for it. Just make sure it all checks out and that they REALLY warranty the car. Good luck!
