v70 radio removal V70-XC70 2001

How do you remove the factory radio unit from the dash on a 01 v70?

Should be 2 push-in slots on either side of the head unit. Depress until they pop back then slide the unit out.

Not for 2001....it has a different center console and audio system. You have to take the pen holder (I believe this model had it at the very base of the center dash) out by prying it out from the side with a blunt knife (kitchen knife works pretty well), then you'll se how things come out from the hole created by its absense. Good luck!
