Hi,
My wife's car just cranks and won't engine won't start, just cranks....What could be the possible cause. It was running perfect over the weekend and yesterday when she went to the grocery the car died after idling and ran again. When she parked the car in our garage she noticed thata idling was bad and car was shaking. Car won't start afterwards.

May be bad fuel pump. Any dash lights? Check engine codes.....

She didn't put diesel fuel in the tank because it was cheaper did she? LOL...
No, on a more serious note, could be bad fuel filter, pump or even bad gas.
