Tie rod ends

I second that. Movement at 3 and 9 is most likely tie rod ends. Based on my experience with two 850’s (essentially the same car as yours) the tie rod ends seem to go at around 100-125k miles. Control arms/ball joints usually last longer. However anything is possible at 25 years old! As Bill mentioned, check out your front end thoroughly before replacing anything.
