P2 vs P3 interior size. V70-XC70

Hi James,
I have 2 2004 5sp (sadly not turbo) V70s currently so I really like the size, handling, comfort etc.
1 is getting a little beaten up by the crazy salt application here (Ottawa, Canada).
Driving some rental SUVs on vacation has done nothing to impress me. A 2022 Toyota Highlander is taller in the back but shorter and narrower. A 2022 Toyota 4Runner is a gas hog, the rear space is similar width to the V70, higher but shorter. Driving thru the canyons north of Vegas gave me the heebie jeebies. That SUV felt like it was floating.

How do you like your 2012 XC70? 3.2?
