240 guy looking at a 1998 S70, advices please. Thx S70 1998

191K miles is a lot for the price. When you go to see the car, before you trun on the ignition, set the climate control vent selector to auto and the blower speed to auto. Assuming this car has electronic climate control, if there is an error, the recirc and AC switch will blink yellow 20 times and the auto function no longer works.

The AC evaporator tends to leak on these cars and repairing/replacing is like replacing the blower motor on the 240.

There are no fog lights, so I can only assume that the engine is without a turbo. This is good and bad, good because the turbo adds a little more complexity to the PCV system cleaning. Bad, is the lack of bhp for merging onto highways.

If the PCV system has not been replaced, this is a 5 hour job in your garage.

The tranny dipstick is behind the driver's side headlight, under the fresh air intake. A yellow handle. Pull up carefully and check the color. It should be red, not brown!
