Some of the 240 guys have replaced tail light and front parking lights with home made LED boards. Headlights are in the not too distant future, I hope.

BTW, the alternator should be putting out around 14.5V at the battery connetion. Enough to fry all of the lightbulbs that are rated at 12V.
