The B20F will drop in, no problem. The head and cam in the B20f are different than those in the B20E -- slightly de-tuned. If that bothers you, install your B20E head on the B20F to preserve the compression ratio. The higher CR and the better breathing from the E head will make up for most of the difference between the E and the F. While you have the head off, give it a valve job (why not?). And hell, with the head off, you might as well pop in a warmer cam from ipd or Iskendarian. Total cost of the above should not exceed $300 or $400 and you'll wish you did it years ago.
