I had the same problem a few years ago. I finally got a mechanic to tell me how to check it out. I do not remember all the details at this time but the problem was a hall effects coil located inside the distribitor. When the motor gets warmed up the coil opens and you no longer get power to the coil or spark plugs. If you would like more information on this you can e mail me and I can try and dig up the information on how to use a DC volt meter to conferm that this is actually the problem. That way time and money are not wasted on buying parts that are still good. I do remember that the test for the hall effects coil has to be done while the engine is not starting. Mine was not starting on a days time or overnight. Hope this helps
