Auxiliary power outlet in 945

I'd like to put a 12V outlet in the back of my 945. Alas, the Volvo accessory outlet (p/n 9184607) requires an Integrity Sensor (don't ask me exactly what that is!), which is on the 850, 70, 90 series and perhaps also the 960. Does anyone have any experience in using an aftermarket outlet - or perhaps the bits from such that could be used with this part to provide a safe solution? Thanks - Josh
