Dual Exhaust

Greetings all...

I was wondering if anyone on the board has any experience (or know of anyone who has) with a dual exhaust setup for a '90 745Ti. I've owned the car since november and the amount of rust on the cat and the brackets the whole way back is a little concerning. Also, the front muffler is gone (straight pipe... no change in interior noise at all...) and the rear muffler is actually exhausting from about 4-5 different places (ie it's toast). I'm considering having a custom exhaust made to replace the whole system. There's a shop locally in Ottawa that specializes in custom stainless systems. What I had in mind was to have the muffler in the location of the front muffler and then split into two and have the pipes just before the rear tires on either side. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
