| My 3rd 240. A Swiss market 240 GLT B230E with an M46 transmission. 131hp. This GLT was delivered with Turbo parts except the engine. Peppy, light, the way a 240 was meant to be. |

| We transferred from Long Beach, CA. to Great Lakes, IL in 1989. We stopped in Arizona for a pit stop and to get a portrait of our faithful Brick towing our VW. Steering was awful until I dropped ten psi out of the front tires and had no more problems. The route was across the South Western states and up thru Texas to avoid mountains. I miss the old beast. It died of rust in the late 1990s. RIP |
