Differential Oil Change 200

Both our 81 and 83 have a little, square headed, drain plug in the diff. case front part - below the pinion shaft. Definitely make sure the fill/level plug will come out before you drain. It's a big devil, with a pipe thread, so feel free to torque on it with a BIG wrench.

We now live in a place that gets a serious winter, so both 240's have Redline synthetic 75W90 and are noticeably more free-rolling first turn out of the driveway in the morning. Regular SAE90 hypoid lube is like paste wax on those minus20 mornings - not good for gears or bearings.
