Ford 4G UPGRADE alternator for '92 240; Which wires where? 200 1992

Update:

Partial success! The alternator alternated and the regulator regulated 13.59 volts, according to my most reliable multimeter.

The culprit was a dirty spade connector to the Battery light; simply squeezing the connector with my fingers closed the circuit and I could hear the engine change pitch as the alternator went on line.

Why only 13.5 volts? Tomorrow I'll do away with the spade connector and make a hard soldered junction, clean the wire harness and ground points. If that's not enough I'll yank the alternator and change out the regulator and brushes.

At least now I think I can drive it to the mechanic's shop in town.
Right now I can say I've got the wiring right.

Thanks,

Tom
