Do new motor mounts need to break in? 200 1993

It might be that something is contacting the body/chassis now that the engine is sitting in a new position. I'm thinking exhaust system. If you had exhaust work done and they made it fit nicely while the engine was in its slumped position, then you raised the engine with new mounts...... well you catch my drift.
