1963 Volvo 122 - Dash Light Switch 120-130 1963

Though I can't think of the exact construction of the switch,
it is safe to say it's not complicated.

I'd remove the switch from the dash so you can work on it on the bench.
If you've got some mechanical knowledge, how it works should be pretty logical.
A DVM (Digital Voltage Meter) is a handy tool to help you figure out how the switch works.

Unless it physically broke, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't pull
the rest of it apart to clean it and reassemble.
