Major Electical harness damage...seek source for used FI connectors/with cables for Idle Control Valve and TPS 700

Forum;

I usually hang out at the left side of the navigation bar, but I could really use some help now...'90 745 B230FT driven home by son, parked, the night before with no issues...the next day, when he tried to start, started OK, but then difficulties with idle, and Indicators ON which pointed to no charging...upon checkout later, I found a bunch of wires down by where the TPS and alternator output wires leave the harness exhibiting massive carbonization of the insulation of a number of wires...poking around with an insulated stick caused the starter to crank indicating a short of the solenoid control wire to a battery hot wire...WOAH....disco that battery fast!....he said he didn't crank it for a long time to start (my first thought for source of heat), and he didn't smell anything burning...

Detailed findings today: Alt output wire was laying up against negative wire which connects to block just below it...apparently it eventually chaffed through, connecting battery AND Alt output to chassis...the resulting mega-heat melted the heavy gauge wire and created enough heat to carbonize insulations in the immediate area and melt insulations of wires not in the immediate area into a glob...luckilly the damage although severe is localized and I've found and identified all the wiring which needs to be replaced...specifically I need:

1. A TPS connector with >12" of wire.
2. An Idle Control Valve Connector with > 12" of wire.
3. The (longer) Idle Control Valve hose (a hole burned into it caused the idle issues)

If anyone can help or can suggest a 740 specialist with donor vehicles, I would be very thankful.

I am hoping that TPS or ICV did not sustain incidental damage when their wiring MAY have been energized with a full 12V, and those components may also need replaceing but the wiring obviously comes first.

Has anyone heard of this happening before?

TIA from Connecticut for any help!

This pic shows alt output wire completely opened and copper meltballs apparent on chassis wire...musta been a hot time on the town...
