Wiring Question- brighter dash lights- possible? 200 1990

I installed a "turbo" 3 gauge set up in my 1990 240. (vacuum instead of boost) I already had two other gauges. By sharing/splicing the hot wires and/or ground wires together for the different gauges respectively, do I cause them to be not as bright? Thanks for the insight.
