Wet floor V70-XC70 1998

If you cannot find an issue with the top of the windsheild, use ordinary electrical tape to seal the plastic strip if you want to eliminate that source of a leak.

Pull a couple of feet off the roll and let it relax so that it will not try to shrink later. Apply several overlapping strips from the top row down to keep pressurized water that comes from driving in the rain.

Even if the problem is not the top of the windshield, a couple of rows on the bottom of the plastic strip will keep it from eventually flying off at speed.

I have developed a great appreciation for electrical tape, it holds up well, leaves little or no residue, and is inexpensive.

I had a leak problem with my XC70 and I used towels laid on the floor to remove surface water and a small fan on the front seat floor with a household dehumidifier over night to dry the rest.
