Euro purchased 2012 XC70 T6 sees MPG reduction upon US reprogramming V70-XC70

This past October 2018 I had to purchase another Volvo Car. I searched through VT, NH, ME, MA, NY, CT, RI, NJ. I used CarGurus.com site and put in my search info.

I looked at 52 Volvo XC70's within 3 weeks.

I picked up a 2012 Volvo XC70 T6 AWD with 140k on it for a great price.

When I picked it up the cars computer was reading a little over 17 mpg on it.
The first thing I did when I had to fill the tank with gas was add in a bottle of my Amsoil Performance Improver. Within the next two tank refills my fuel economy on the car was up to 19 mpg. I then switched out the oil and filter with my Amsoil 5W-30 (ASL), a Mann Filter after I used my Amsoil Engine Flush product. Now, after 5k of this my fuel economy is up to 23 mpg. After 7.5k I replaced the oil filter with a new Mann Filter and topped off the oil in the crankcase. I went another 7.5k on the car and did another complete change of the oil/filter with another engine flush. Then shortly after doing this change over I had the tranny fluid switched out to the Amsoil (ATL) and fuel economy is up to 26 mpg. On a few tank fuels I have hit over 30 mpg average.

Just this last week I switched out the Axle fluids to my Amsoil SVG (75W-90) gear fluids and replaced the AOC Filter and Fluids. I'm looking at getting this vehicle over the 30 mpg average consistently.

Does anyone out here know anything about the performance upgrade to the PoleStar for Volvo's?

Let me know.
