Euro purchased 2012 XC70 T6 sees MPG reduction upon US reprogramming V70-XC70

I am actually was not disappointed in the mileage I was getting during highway drives; I got a little over 25 mpg during a 15 hour drive from Tennessee to Vermont. It was after telling the previous owner how well the car did on gas that he told me the story about seen the mpg reduction to 25 mpg from 35 mpg highway. The mpg's I am experiencing are consistent with EPA highway ratings and what others in the US are seeing. I expect you may be right that if I use non-ethanol premium fuel, I may see an improvement. I will give that a try and report back what I experience.
