<title>[RWD] [200] Which engine did the Bertone orig. have? -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>my car had the v6. heck, i&#x27;ve already cut the springs and put in bilstein hd&#x27;s. if i have cut the springs too short, i&#x27;ll just get some ipd springs. it&#x27;s been so long since i drove the car that i can&#x27;t remember if it even has the driver side footwell vent. :(

<title>[RWD] [200] what all do i need? -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>here&#x27;s the plan: put a d24t with m46 into my 1981 bertone.

here&#x27;s what i have: m46 with bellhousing for the diesel motors. 200 series diesel radiator and airbox.

what do i need? i&#x27;ve been told i need the oil pan from a d24 if i don&#x27;t want to notch the engine crossmember. do i need to change the oil pickup? do i need a 200 series diesel specific tranny crossmember for the m46 or does the 200 series gasser m46 crossmember fit properly? is the engine crossmember special or different for the diesel 200? i know i need to source the diesel 200 series fuel tank.

<title>[V8] converse kit for sale/trade -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>since i&#x27;ve been doing the veggie diesel thing for almost 2 years now with a benz, my plans have changed for my bertone. free fuel is addictive. i was about half finished doing a converse conversion on my 81 bertone and i&#x27;ve decided to go veggie hotrod. i need a running d24t with manual tranny bellhousing and preferably the tranny too. i also need a 200 series diesel tank and accesories plus the engine wiring to firewall for the d24t.

i have a mustang 5.0 with t5 and engine computer that ran when i pulled it. the power steering pump is missing. i&#x27;ve got the 200 series converse kit, and poly motor mounts for the 5.0.

location: san marcos, tx i would prefer to swap with someone in texas if possible.

anyone interested?

<title>[V8] Need some driveshaft advice -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>someone here went to a 4X4 shop and had ford super duty pickup truck driveshaft parts installed. those trucks use a 2 piece driveshaft that can handle gobs of torque. i would go find that thread and bump it up to the top but the format here doesn&#x27;t do that, which bites my clank.

<title>[V8] successful 6 cylinder turbo conversion? -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>you heard wrong about the volvo v6. the early volvo v6 WAS problematic if routine maintenance was ignored, but by the time the engine designation changed from b28f to b280f the bugs had been worked out. john lane has dynoed over 500rwhp with his turbo volvo v6.

http://www.dmcnews.com/Techsection/performance.html &#x3C;&#x3C; info from the man himself. ad eagle heads, custom rods, a turbo, intercooler, and ms-n-s and you&#x27;re in business.

<title>[V8] motor mount shims -posted by- pgringo69</title>
<description>i&#x27;m in the middle of the converse conversion for 200 series. what should i use to shim the coverse bolt-in motor mounts in order to make the left one clear the power steering? i am trying to use 1/4&#x22; aluminum plate. it seems that the holes are not drilled in the proper location in the coverse motor mounts, but i may be wrong.
