I put SeaFoam in my 940 turbo's oil. Ran the car at idle for about 10 minutes then went a round the block a few times. Came back and changed the oil. Not even a month later, my 6 month old 13c was dead. You can test this by jumping the relay and see if it stays on. If not the relay, then the solenoid in the transmission.
