Thanks for the information. I previously owned a 1998 S70 GLT. The transmission went at 220,000 miles which I don't consider too bad. However, I read that the V70s trannys fail before 100k. Is the V70 without the turbo or AWD any better? I checked the transmission fluid level and it is okay. I also moved the shift lever as you suggested. However, the lights are still on. I don't want to drive the car as I feel it may happen again.
