[OPINIONS] more for you Tony, don't let them fool you -posted by- 544ever

The same scenario happened here in Tampa. Fla on Friday..........venue w/ 250 seats, packed w/ union and acorn folks, and 1500 outside. Our Congresswomen Kathy Castor is right up Nancy P's butt. They intentionly picked the small location to stage a Rah-Rah for BHO, cause he does not care for true "Community Activism", and just can't handle a "no".
The Media called it a riot, paid for by the right, bla-bla, and the Demoncrats announce "only telephone town hall meetings in Florida".

You gotta believe that a whole bunch of folks that voted for this charmer are becoming dis-enchanted w/ the full court press to power, and the other 1/2 who did NOT want this BS'er never fell for it in the 1st place.
Stand-up America!!!!

[V8] V8-760 for sale-Florida -posted by- 544ever

The V8 inna a Volvo makes for a real sweet sleeper, pulls like that first ride back then in an 80's Mustang V8. My old '84 GLE was put together in '96 with a lot of help from a friend w/ a ton of skill in Rod-building.No kit here.
This '84 was a diesel,w/correct springs, tank, heavy radiator, coolers, and a sweet 3.73 rear. The 302 is .30 over, mild RV type,mid-range pulling cam, cop motor, 600 Performer carb,Mallory,MSD. Motor and Tranny( T-BIRD AOD, W/F-150 guts ) have 45,000 easy miles, some redlite to redlite pulls for shock value.
This old girl runs great, needs some resto on the plastic int. trim, seats are great, blue cloth, roof, trunk faded. I picked up an '88 Bertone which could work. So, this is a bit of a project, or a completely engineered, running conversion, that would slide into a 700,900 series w/ ease, a 200 w/modified front mounts.Located in Central Fla, West Coast. $3200.00, $500.00 for the Bertone.
KAYO.544's,'62'64'210'64,760GL8,and dead Bert, '71 GMC 'BURB,

[V8] Any Mopars sitting in volvo's? -posted by- 544ever

Anything will fit into Anything when it comes to engine swaps. I watched a show on Speed Channel doing a Ferd 302 into Mazda Miata which has been done before, but here's complete kit down to the heavier rr axles, and the kit is 4K.
We've got an early Bertone here in Tampa,FL w/a older 427 Chevvie using a
racing style solid plate front motor mount.....a real shaker. We did a couple of little 2.8 GM V6's in 700's for the spouses back in '96, a f-302 in mine, and a CHV-375/350 in his(all diesel donors), also in 700's for ourselves. My compatriot, an old Drag Racer/builder had a real knack for this stuff, having stuffed V8's in the likes of Ford Cortinas, Vegas,Anglias, over the years.

I found a dead Bertone 780 last year, and those have a little design stretch in the front fenders/engine compartment. This looks like Hemi space to me.

I would have to agree that this is some good stuff. This is the same motor you are running I think. according to your website. '71 was the year of conversion to Fuel injection on some models. Are you using the old school F.I. on the Blue Race-car?
