I do have a problem with a civil court trying someone accused of committing an act of war. There are other tribunals that are specified for acts of this kind, and different sentencing guidelines for dealing with those who are found guilty. Those wealthiest people are the ones who hire others to work for them. If they don't make the money, they probably won't be doing any hireing. Abraham Lincoln said it best when he said that you could not make one person better off by taking wealth away from others. I'd be in favor of a National Sales Tax. That way every person would pay his share. Yes, the poor would pay a higher percentage of their wages in taxes, but it would close all the loopholes. I would rather buy a Toyota or Nissan and keep the people fully employed here in the good old USA.
