[RWD] [200] [1985] How to Check/Set Timing -posted by- joekidd

Never unplugged the hose either, does not effect the timing on the low end,at idle. I have an 87 and 88 which require manual timing adjustments.
If timing belt was changed the timing can be altered if things moved in the process.

[RWD] [200] [1988] Front wheel vibration -posted by- joekidd

Most likely is bad or out of balance old tire? Move tires from front to back and see if problem goes away is easy test.
Easy test for rod-ends and ball joints with the front wheels on stands grab the tire at 6 and 12 and try to push and pull it,alot of play bad ball joint.
grab tire at 3 and 9 push and pull lot of play bad tie-rod ends or rack.
Wheel bearings will need to be properly set for both of theses simple tests.
Posting the mileage also will help in pointing you in the right direction.

Good luck

[RWD] [200] [1988] In-line check valve for power brakes -posted by- joekidd

Looking on FCP they are showing a picture of the vaccuum check valve black/white. There is no volve for the brake booster except for the 90 degree one you already replaced. I recently replaced both of those parts from FCP as the plastic was cracked and the check valve on the intake was leaking
