Could someone tell me how the pressure from the hide side of a r134a system is released from a 93/240?
Thanks for any help.

[RWD] [200] [1993] ac part diagram, which part turns -posted by- squeak

Hi Phil, Thanks for getting back. Yes, no charge in system. Yes, I guess that makes sense to rotate the nut on the pipe going away from the condenser. It's just that with couplings it's hard sometimes to tell which fitting turns and which is stationary. I believe only one of these actually turns. There are couplings on some of these ac lines that look like they consist of 2 hex fittings that both turn, when in fact one is fixed. Sorry that pdf file didn't work. It might have downloaded to your desktop or someplace.
Thanks again.

[RWD] [200] ac part diagram, which part turns -posted by- squeak

This is the link to the ac part I was talking about in my last post. It's part (6) on the diagram:

www006.upp.so-net.ne.jp/volvored245-90/file/1058.pdf

To reiterate, I'm trying to find out which part of the connection, male or female, to hold stationary to loosen this part to replace "o" ring. I'm talking about the vertical connection right by the front of the car.

Thanks for any guidance.

[RWD] [200] [1993] ac pipe, sorry misposted last time -posted by- squeak

Ciao tutti!!
I'm trying to replace the "o" ring in one of my ac pipes. The one that attaches vertically to the condenser. My question is: Which part of the connection turns when tightening or loosening? The female or the male connection? I don't want to wrench on the wrong one. Which one do I hold stationary and which one do I turn?
Thanks very much,
Rob

Thanks.

Does anyone know why Bentley's says to check for loose or broken engine mounts before checking fault codes? I've experienced a couple of near stalls on acceleration.
Thanks very much.

Thanks very much Justin. I'm looking forward to using that diagnostic system just the way you suggest. With regard to the 25amper, there is no fuse in my number 6 and no wiring going to it. Do you know the color of the wire for the fuse and then maybe I can see it attached to one of the other fuse slots.
Thanks a ton of donuts,
Rob
