The ect sensor show the engine temp at -40 degrees. I put in a new one sensor and t stat from Volvo and now it shows the temp at 360 degrees. The check engine light popped back on and the fan stays on after turning off car. I called Volvo and they said this is common, this transmission has a neutral feature to save gas and wear on the tranny. When it engages sometimes it does it with a clunk or jerk. They said thsi can be solved with a software update.
