[RWD] [200] Virgo score -posted by- hardknocks

hi there great price. i scored four virgos today with three great center caps. but no lug nuts. i offered the guy a extra 20 bucks if he would hunt the lug nuts down, but to no avail. the tires had decent rubber (two of them did) but i had to pay 120.00$ the u-pull prices keep going up, unlike my paycheck. ;-(

[RWD] [200] [1986] CORRECT A/C PRESSURE FOR THE LOW FILL PORT SIDE/ QUESTION -posted by- hardknocks

hi there im no a.c. expert but that is way too high of a reading. i dont know if you can overfill that much on low side. there might be a obstruction somewhere on the high side. if someone installed the compressor you might want to have them find out whats going on. or you could let some r-134 out (DO NOT BREATHE ANY TYPE OF FREON INTO YOUR LUNGS) and see what happens. i have seen those cheepo guages with a adapter to go to high side, or low side. i just borrow the real guages from a friend.

hi there is this with the compressor running? one might be careful when doing high pressure stuff like this. hope you at leats have safety glasses. and gloves might be a good idea. something is not right here thats why its good to have high side guage also.

[RWD] [200] virgo question -posted by- hardknocks

hi all one of my the virgos i was going to put on is bent but holds air. i havent rode it to see how it will ride. it is on the inside of the rim like someone hit a curb with only half the tire. wondering can it be straightened in any way? what material is the rim made of? also i remember talk of tire size some say 205/60/15 is not a good tire to use. what is the general consensus? im going to put new rubber on the rims this week. thanks alot for any input.

[RWD] [200] [1991] missing wires -posted by- hardknocks

hi there on the large tach the three prong connection is for the small clock add on. there is two connectors i believe down lower, use one of them. there should be a red/white wire somewhere behind the speedo cluster for the tach signal. your car is not wired for the three guage cluster. but all can be hooked up. dont know about the turbo guage, guess you can use it for monitoring vacume.

hi there congrats. i think there is a section in the F.A.Q. about all the grounds. when i clean mine i put dielectric grease, then 3m rubber in a can to keep the moisture out. there is one under the rear seat for the fuel pump that causes problems. good luck
