760 Sedan as daily driver?

Hello fellow bricksters,
Recently there's a nice 760 with the Ford 5.0 and auto tranny that's become available.

So far everything's lookin good, but I'm just wondering what it'll be like to service this machine in terms of repair costs, who can service it (hopefully a regular ford mechanic can service it) etc.

the rear end's a 3.73, but I'd like to make a bit taller for highway use, as well as for better fuel economy (I had 2.71's in my MT 86 325es and I got better fuel economy with it's 2.7 inline 6, than i got in my 84 MT Rabbit!)

Any suggestions on what to look for? the cruise is inop and I'd like to know if there's some way I can get it going again.

Thanks in advance!
