coolant temperature sensor adaptor broke - need size/type

Hi all,

I'm in the middle of installing a set of aluminum GT40 heads and a Cobra intake manifold on my 12-year-old conversion. When removing parts from the old lower intake, the coolant temperature sensor "adapter" (part of the Converse kit back in 1995) broke off.

This adapter is was installed just forward of the #5 intake runner, and allowed me to screw in the temp sensor from the 240 (for gauge and sensor compatibility?).

Does anybody know the size/specifications of the adapter?

FWIW, the cobra lower manifold still has its original sensor in place, so I'm not "dead-in-the-water," but I would like to be able to track the coolant temp when I start this thing up again.

One other thought--any ideas how far off the temp gauge would read if I use the original Mustang sensor?

Thanks in advance!

Best,

Steve A-
