I'm starting early planning for an appropriate V-8 swap into my 145. I'm considering older Ford 289 or perhaps early 80's 5.0 Mustang. I'll be carbing it. While I'm certainly prepared for replacing the entire motor cradle and connected suspension, I thought I better put some leads out there for advice from those who have done it. I've also already considered and solved related issues surrounding body flex vs. engine torque/hp.
With a $Gazillion into customizing and paint, it's now time to begin prep for the running gear.
Any information out there?
