LET ME START BY SAYING,I HAVE A 1990 240 350 SBC WITH TPI.I BUILT IT WITH HELP FROM THE JTR BOOK.I'M CURRENTLY RUNNING THE STOCK CAST IRON EXHAUST MANIFOLDS.I WOULD LIKE TO PUT ON A BETTER FLOWING EXHAUST.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE ARE A SET OF HEADERS THAT WILL FIT WITHOUT TOO MUCH MODIFACATION? WILL A SET OF BLOCK HUGGERS BE MY BEST CHOICE?
THANKS IN ADVANCE,BRIAN

Block huggers are probably your best bet, that's what I ended up using, Summit block hugger headers. Under $100 if I recall correctly. Probably not much better than cast iron as far as flow and performance, but they fit just fine, especially with a gear reduction starter, and the LT1 oil filter adapter.
