Dear Brickboard User, The Brickboard has been run since 1997 by a sole proprietor, Jarrod Stenberg. It has been a great success as far as utility to users and in numbers of users. The introduction of ad banners with a Volvo community bend has helped a great deal. This cash has helped elevate the level of service considerably and I am certainly grateful to those who have paid in this way. Regardless of the success, the site could use more administrative attention, more bandwidth, faster response-time, etc. More revenue means a higher quality of service. So what is the "CONTRIBUTE" button below all about? This is a drive to pay for immediate and ongoing expenses. Think of it as an informal yearly membership fee. I want people to pay what they think it has been worth to them, what they think is fair, and what they can afford. There is a direct relationship between the contributions and the amount of time that I can dedicate to this site. If every single user sent $10 a year, for example, this site could be my full time job. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you remember the email address used for this process. PayPal will ask you for an email address. This email address will be associated with your payment. If you send by postal service, please write your email address on the check.
