I post this message on behalf of my husband, who is beside himself, trying to solve the "intermittent starting problem" with our '90 740. There is only one fuel pump unlike most ...i believe over the weekend he did some testing and discovered if he bypasssed the computer it would start but not idle.
Any assistance woudl be greatly appreciated!!!!!! PLEASE...this was my car till this situation started ...I miss it very much!!!!
