B20 into '67 122, generator bracket 120-130

I have assembled a B20 to install in my 122 wagon. I eventually will convert to an alternator, but in the interest of getting it running with minimal expenditure now, I installed the generator on the B20 block. My problem is the bracket that attaches to the top of the generator does not line up with the generator because the B20 head is slightly different from the B18 head where the bracket attaches. The bracket is too far forward. I can come up with something that will work, but I wondered if someone else has been through this same problem and has a solution that works.
Any advice is appreciated.
Alan
