VIEW    READ ONLY    PRINT   SAVE   A    A  '89 740 Idle question 700 1989 posted by  someone claiming to be KYVOLVO on  Thu Jun 17 15:17 CST 2004 [RELATED] David is correct...put that throttle back where it was and do a good throttle body cleaning and flame trap replacement (non turbo)..check all vac lines and clean all vac ports on air intake manifold...check for any open or crack air intake hoses..from air filter on back, it must be leak free/air tight, or you will have idle problems..
