Hi pageda
I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but what you said rang a bell with me concerning my own car.
I've had a vibration that I've been assuming is is caused by a out of round (or out of balance) tire.
The more that I drive the car, I'm beginning to think that the vibration is being caused by a frozen or bad u-joint.
This car sat under a tree for about 3 years before I bought it (about 4 months ago), and has had the same vibration from day one.
I've been driving these cars a long time, and have never had that problem.
In fact, I've had very few u-joints to fail over my history.
I'm going to check the u-joints today and see if this is the problem.
