The images are stored forever.

I've had requests to pull in images from other sites when referenced. I've always wanted to do that, but I can't do that in some cases because of copyright. When Facebook does stuff like that, it's just a tiny thumbnail and that won't work. I think I could have the user elect to do this in a limited way.

I've always wanted to improve the image related stuff on this site. I actually have queries out for people who can develop the front-end of that.
