CAM gear alignments during timing belt install during engine rebuild B6304 engine. S90-V90 1998

If you are buying the tool that inserts into the slots at the rear of the cams it is not really needed. The only purpose of the tool is to assist aligning the slots horizontal with each other. At no time is it necessary to lock the crank. The procedure is to align the cams, install the pulleys aligned to their marks, align the crank and slip on the belt.
